Part 1: The Healing Power of Touch

We all crave connection. A simple hug can uplift our spirits, and a gentle touch can instantly soothe a worry. Massage therapy harnesses this innate power of touch, promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and improving overall well-being. Here at In Touch with Wellness, I've dedicated the last 30 years to helping clients discover the transformative power of massage.


Research Spotlight: A 2010 study published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that massage therapy significantly reduced cortisol (stress hormone) levels and improved mood in healthy adults. Another study, published in the International Journal of Nursing Studies in 2018, showed massage therapy to be effective in reducing anxiety in patients with chronic pain.
